CVE-2026-49978: CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in cure53 DOMPurifyCVE-2026-49978
0

DOMPurify versions prior to 3.4.7 contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability where the IN_PLACE sanitization method can skip shadow DOM contents inside <template>.content. This allows attacker-controlled markup such as event handlers, JavaScript URLs, or scripts to persist and execute when sanitized templates are cloned and inserted. The issue is fixed in version 3.4.7.

CVE-2026-49459: CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in cure53 DOMPurifyCVE-2026-49459
0

DOMPurify versions prior to 3.4.6 contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability when using DOMPurify.sanitize with the IN_PLACE option on a root <form> element. This flaw allows preservation of event-handler attributes on an attacker-controlled root due to improper handling of clobbered properties, potentially leading to XSS. The issue is fixed in version 3.4.6.

CVE-2026-49458: CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in cure53 DOMPurifyCVE-2026-49458
0

DOMPurify versions prior to 3.4.6 contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to improper input neutralization during web page generation. The vulnerability arises when using DOMPurify.sanitize with the IN_PLACE option on same-origin foreign-realm DOM nodes, causing certain sanitization checks to be bypassed. This allows executable markup to survive sanitization. The issue is fixed in version 3.4.6.
