CVE-2026-100368 is an OS command injection vulnerability in the alastairlundy CliInvoke.Specializations .NET library, affecting its PowerShell and Cmd wrappers. The vulnerability allows untrusted input containing double quotes to break shell quoting and execute arbitrary commands with the host process's privileges. Multiple versions from 1.0.0-rc.1 through 3.0.0-alpha.10 are affected. Patches are available in versions 2.8.5, 2.9.4, 2.10.5, 3.0.0-beta.1, and 2.0.2 for the respective packages. No complete workaround exists; users unable to upgrade should sanitize inputs by removing double quotes and shell metacharacters or avoid using the vulnerable wrappers.
