CVE-2026-49257: CWE-306: Missing Authentication for Critical Function in startreedata mcp-pinotCVE-2026-49257 0 mcp-pinot versions 3.0.1 and below run an unauthenticated HTTP MCP server bound to all interfaces, allowing any network-adjacent user to access critical functions such as SQL query execution, schema creation, and table configuration mutation. This leads to a confused-deputy vulnerability where the server uses its Pinot credentials to perform unauthorized read/write operations on the Pinot cluster. The issue is fixed in version 3.1.0.
