0 A high-severity HTML injection vulnerability (CVE-2024-43805) affects JupyterLab and Jupyter Notebook, allowing an attacker to exploit DOM Clobbering by tricking a user into opening a malicious notebook or Markdown file. This can lead to unauthorized access to user data and arbitrary requests performed with the user's privileges. The issue is patched in JupyterLab versions 4.2.5 and later, and Jupyter Notebook 7.2.2 and later. No full workaround exists, but disabling certain plugins can reduce risk for those unable to update promptly.
