CVE-2024-22705 is a high-severity vulnerability identified in the ksmbd component of the Linux kernel versions prior to 6.6.10. Ksmbd is a kernel-level SMB (Server Message Block) server implementation that allows Linux systems to share files and printers with Windows clients using the SMB protocol.
