CVE-2026-103028 is an authorization vulnerability in SFTPGo versions 2.5.0 through 2.7.5. Authenticated users with copy permission can bypass file-pattern restrictions on source files, allowing them to copy and read files that should be denied by denied_patterns or outside allowed_patterns. This occurs because the file-pattern filters are only applied to the destination path, not the source. The issue allows recursive directory copies to reproduce restricted contents under allowed paths and bypass hide policies. The vulnerability does not affect home-directory boundaries, virtual-folder layouts, per-directory permissions, access to other accounts, or administrative authorization. The issue is fixed in version 2.7.6. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/13/2026, 14:54:47 UTC Added: 10/13/2026, 15:04:06 UTC |
