CVE-2026-1227 is a high-severity XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability in Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) Workstation versions prior to 7.0.3.2000 (CP1). The flaw arises from improper restriction of XML external entity references when a local user uploads a specially crafted TGML graphics file to the EBO server via the Workstation. Exploitation can lead to unauthorized disclosure of local files, unintended interactions within the EBO system, or denial of service conditions. The vulnerability requires local privileges and some user interaction to trigger, but does not require authentication beyond local access. No known exploits are currently reported in the wild. European organizations using affected EBO versions in their building management infrastructure are at risk, especially those with critical facilities relying on these systems. Mitigation involves promptly updating to version 7. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 02/11/2026, 13:45:51 UTC Added: 02/11/2026, 14:01:15 UTC |
