CVE-2026-14570: CWE-330 Use of Insufficiently Random Values in TIMLEGGE Crypt::DSACVE-2026-14570 0 Crypt::DSA versions before 1.22 for Perl use a biased random number generator for DSA signing nonces and private keys, leading to private key recovery. The high bit of every random value is forced to 1, resulting in non-uniform, insecure values. An attacker with a modest number of signatures and the public key can recover the private key using a lattice attack. Keys generated with affected versions should be considered compromised and replaced. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 07/05/2026, 01:30:12 UTC Added: 07/05/2026, 01:52:21 UTC |
