Formidable Forms WordPress plugin versions up to and including 6.33.1 are vulnerable to a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) flaw via the 'frm_user_id' parameter. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts that execute when users access affected pages. The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, enabling attackers to bypass filters by forging the frm_user_id to match an administrator's user ID. This causes the plugin's output filtering to preserve the malicious payload, which is then decoded and executed by admin JavaScript on page load.
