CVE-2026-19182: CWE-863 Incorrect Authorization in The OpenNMS Group MeridianCVE-2026-19182 0 CVE-2026-19182 is an incorrect authorization vulnerability in the v2 Alarm REST API of OpenNMS Meridian and Horizon. It allows a low-privileged authenticated user with ROLE_REST to acknowledge, escalate, or clear alarms as an arbitrary username. Additionally, if the user also has ROLE_READONLY, they can modify alarm state despite read-only restrictions. The flaw is due to an inverted credential check condition that fails to execute for real usernames, potentially compromising alarm state integrity and audit records. The issue affects specific versions prior to Meridian 2024.3.12, 2025.0.9, and Horizon 36.0.3. The vendor recommends upgrading to these fixed versions. These products are intended for private network use and should not be exposed directly to the Internet.
