Tattile Smart+, Vega, and Basic device families firmware versions 1.181.5 and prior implement an authentication token (X-User-Token) with insufficient expiration. An attacker who obtains a valid token (for example via interception, log exposure, or token reuse on a shared system) can continue to authenticate to the management interface until the token is revoked, enabling unauthorized access to device functions and data.

CVE-2026-26342 addresses a critical security weakness in the firmware of Tattile s.r.l.'s Smart+, Vega, and Basic device families (version 1.181.5 and prior). The vulnerability arises from the implementation of an authentication token mechanism (X-User-Token) that lacks proper expiration controls. Tokens issued by the device management interface remain valid indefinitely unless explicitly revoked, violating secure session management best practices as defined by CWE-613 (Insufficient Session Expiration). An attacker who gains access to a valid token—whether through network interception, exposure in logs, or reuse on shared systems—can continue to authenticate without revalidation, effectively bypassing session expiration safeguards.
