CVE-2026-29643: n/aCVE-2026-29643 0 CVE-2026-29643 is a high-severity vulnerability in the XiangShan open-source RISC-V processor's CSR subsystem. It involves improper handling of exceptional conditions when executing certain CSR operations on non-existent or custom CSR addresses. This flaw can cause the processor to fail to transfer control to the trap handler, potentially leading to a hung or unrecoverable core state. A local attacker with code execution ability on the processor can exploit this to cause denial of service and possibly inconsistent architectural state. No patch or official remediation is currently confirmed. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 04/20/2026, 00:00:00 UTC Added: 04/20/2026, 21:46:06 UTC |
