Apache Tomcat versions 8.5.0 through 8.5.100, 9.0.0 through 9.0.112, 10.1.0 through 10.1.49, and 11.0.0 through 11.0.14 contain an improper input validation vulnerability that allows bypassing client certificate authentication due to inconsistent hostname validation between the TLS SNI extension and the HTTP host header. This affects configurations with multiple virtual hosts where client certificate authentication is enforced only at the Connector level. The issue is fixed in versions 8.5.101 and later, 9.0.113 and later, 10.1.50 and later, and 11.0.15 and later.
