CVE-2026-34005 is a high-severity OS command injection vulnerability affecting Xiongmai DVR/NVR devices running firmware version 4.03. R11. The flaw exists in the handling of the HostName value via an authenticated DVRIP protocol request on TCP port 34567, where shell metacharacters are not properly neutralized. This allows an attacker with authenticated access to execute arbitrary root commands on the device. The vulnerability arises because the system() function is used insecurely in the NetWork. NetCommon configuration handler. No patch or official remediation information is currently available.
