CVE-2026-3514 is an authentication bypass vulnerability in prefecthq/prefect version 3.6.19. The issue arises because the authentication middleware exempts URL paths ending with 'health' or 'ready' from authentication checks. Attackers can exploit this by creating resource names with these suffixes to access sensitive endpoints without authentication. Affected endpoints include those related to variables, flows, work pools, work queues, and deployments, potentially exposing sensitive data such as API keys and database credentials.
