It arises from unsafe interpolation of attacker-controlled comment text into a bash if statement within a GitHub Actions workflow. This allows an attacker to inject arbitrary shell commands. The vulnerability affects versions prior to commit bbed8d28354e9c644c5a7df13946a3a0451f9ab9. A fix has been implemented in that commit.
