CVE-2026-43976 is an authorization vulnerability in wger, an open-source workout and fitness manager. Versions prior to 2.6 have a flawed gym-scope authorization check that allows trainers without a gym assignment but with certain permissions to access sensitive data belonging to other users. This includes private admin notes, uploaded documents, gym contracts, user configuration, and permission data. The issue is fixed in version 2.6.
