CVE-2026-49819: CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') in seriousm4x UpSnapCVE-2026-49819 0 UpSnap versions 4.4.1 through 5.3.5 contain a critical vulnerability allowing unauthenticated attackers to register the initial superuser account via the POST /api/upsnap/init-superuser endpoint. This occurs due to missing authentication and insufficient access controls in the pb.HandlerInitSuperuser function. Exploitation can lead to privilege escalation and remote code execution on the host system. Version 5.4.0 addresses this issue.
