CVE-2026-54249: CWE-918: Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in pydantic pydantic-aiCVE-2026-54249
0

CVE-2026-54249 is a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in pydantic-ai, a Python agent framework for Generative AI applications. Versions 1.65.0 through 1.105.0 and 2.0.0b1 through 2.0.0b5 allow a client submitting message history to a Pydantic AI UI adapter to reference arbitrary files in the application's model-provider or cloud-storage account. This occurs because UploadedFile references are forwarded without validation, enabling the server to access files using its own credentials. The issue is fixed in versions 1.106.0 and 2.0.0b6. The vulnerability has a CVSS 3.1 score of 6.8 (medium severity).
