Prior to version 7.0.13, the adapter incorrectly converts Astro image.remotePatterns into Netlify Image CDN regular expressions with broader matching semantics, allowing apex hosts and deeper paths to match unexpectedly. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.13. The vulnerability has a medium severity with a CVSS score of 5.3 and does not require privileges or user interaction to exploit.
