0 CVE-2026-54688 is a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the mcp-searxng Model Context Protocol server prior to version 1.2.0. The vulnerability arises because the server fetch function web_url_read accepts user-supplied URLs without enforcing URL restrictions by default. This allows an attacker who can influence the URL to cause the server to fetch internal resources such as loopback, private network, or cloud metadata endpoints. The issue is fixed in version 1.2.0.
