FreePBX versions prior to 16.0.40 and 17.0.7 contain a critical remote code execution vulnerability in the Superfecta module. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with a known username to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server with web server user privileges. The vulnerability arises from unsafe dynamic inclusion of PHP files based on user input in the module's AJAX handler. It has been patched in versions 16.0.40 and 17.0.7.
