CVE-2026-55187: CWE-918: Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in axllent mailpitCVE-2026-55187 0 CVE-2026-55187 is a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in axllent's Mailpit email testing tool prior to version 1.30.2. The issue arises because the internal deny-list for IP addresses does not block certain IPv6 transition mechanisms and prefixes, allowing an attacker to coerce the Link Check API into dialing internal destinations. This can enable mapping of internal service reachability, including cloud metadata endpoints. The vulnerability has a medium severity with a CVSS score of 5.8 and is fixed in version 1.30.2.
