The flaw occurs in the Apple OAuth login handler where the application improperly accepts an arbitrary email value if the Apple-issued JWT lacks an email claim. This allows attackers to forge JWTs without an email and potentially take over user accounts. The vulnerability has a CVSS 4.0 score of 9.3, indicating high severity.
