CVE-2026-6507 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in dnsmasq on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. A remote attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted BOOTREPLY packet to a dnsmasq server configured with the --dhcp-split-relay option. Successful exploitation causes memory corruption, leading to a denial of service (DoS) via daemon crash. The vulnerability has a high severity with a CVSS score of 7. 5. No known exploits are reported in the wild. The vendor advisory does not specify a patch or remediation status at this time.
