CVE-2026-70657: CWE-863: Incorrect Authorization in 9001 copypartyCVE-2026-70657 0 CVE-2026-70657 is an authorization vulnerability in copyparty, a portable file server. Versions prior to 1.20.17 allow a combination of directory-key and file-key flags to convert a valid file key into a directory key, granting unintended read access to the containing folder. This issue affects volumes with the dk or dks directory-key flag combined with the fk or fka file-key flag, even though these features are disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled. The vulnerability is fixed in version 1.20.17. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/18/2026, 14:59:54 UTC Added: 08/18/2026, 15:05:04 UTC |
