CVE-2026-72917: CWE-180: Incorrect Behavior Order: Validate Before Canonicalize in Mintplex-Labs anything-llmCVE-2026-72917 0 AnythingLLM versions prior to 1.15.1 contain a vulnerability in the unauthenticated account recovery flow. The flaw arises from improper handling of recovery codes, where deduplication occurs before trimming whitespace, allowing an attacker to bypass the intended two-code verification. This enables an attacker who knows a username and one recovery code to reset the account password and take over the account, including administrator accounts.
