SEP sesam before 5.2.0.24 mishandles User Authorization with MFA. If AD authentication is configured and MFA is enforced, an attacker can create a second OTP access capability. SEP sesam and Active Directory handle username capitalization differently, which may allow multiple SEP sesam user accounts to be created for the same Active Directory (AD) account. Active Directory treats usernames as case-insensitive, while SEP sesam distinguishes between different letter casing. As a result, the same AD user can be represented by multiple SEP sesam user accounts that differ only in username capitalization. When Active Directory authentication is configured and multi-factor authentication (MFA) is enforced, this behavior may allow an additional OTP Authenticator to be registered for the same AD account, reducing the effectiveness of MFA protection.

Incorrect Behavior Order: Validate Before Canonicalize vulnerability in ash-project ash lets an attacker store a case-insensitive string value that violates its length or match constraints. Ash.Type.CiString.apply_constraints/2 (lib/ash/type/ci_string.ex) validated the max_length, min_length, and match constraints against the value as submitted, while the type case-folds the string (per its casing) for storage and comparison. Because validation ran before folding, an attacker can submit a value whose folded form breaks a constraint but whose original form passes: for example, against a match pattern requiring uppercase, an uppercase value that is stored lowercased persists a value the pattern rejects. The fix case-folds the value at the start of apply_constraints/2, so the constraints are checked against the form that is actually stored. This issue affects ash: from 1.29.0-rc0 before 3.32.2.

CVE-2026-76203 is a medium severity vulnerability in maalfer Pentestify versions 1.2.0 through 2.3.2. It involves an incorrect behavior order where validation occurs before canonicalization in the CSS sanitizer of the report theme. This flaw allows an authenticated user to craft CSS hex escapes that bypass the sanitizer's blocklist and reconstruct the url() function, enabling forced outbound HTTP requests from other users' browsers. These requests can disclose the victim's IP address and User-Agent information.

CVE-2026-73420 is a critical vulnerability in NextAuth.js affecting the email and magic-link sign-in flow. The default email address normalizer validates the address before applying Unicode normalization, allowing an attacker to exploit Unicode characters that canonicalize to ASCII at-signs. This can cause a misrouting of passwordless sign-in links to attacker-controlled addresses, enabling unauthorized sign-in without victim interaction. The issue is fixed in @auth/core 0.41.3, next-auth 4.24.15, and 5.0.0-beta.32.

### Summary The contents of files that are specified by [`server.fs.deny`](https://vite.dev/config/server-options#server-fs-deny) can be returned to the browser. ### Impact Only apps that match the following conditions are affected: - explicitly exposes the Vite dev server to the network (using `--host` or [`server.host` config option](https://vitejs.dev/config/server-options.html#server-host)) - the sensitive file exists in the allowed directories specified by [`server.fs.allow`](https://vite.dev/config/server-options#server-fs-allow) - the sensitive file is denied with a pattern that matches a file by [`server.fs.deny`](https://vite.dev/config/server-options#server-fs-deny) ### Details On the Vite dev server, files that should be blocked by `server.fs.deny` (e.g., `.env`, `*.crt`) can be retrieved with HTTP 200 responses when query parameters such as `?raw`, `?import&raw`, or `?import&url&inline` are appended. ### PoC 1. Start the dev server: `pnpm exec vite root --host 127.0.0.1 --port 5175 --strictPort` 2. Confirm that `server.fs.deny` is enforced (expect 403): `curl -i http://127.0.0.1:5175/src/.env | head -n 20` <img width="3944" height="1092" alt="image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/ecb9f2e0-e08f-4ac7-b194-e0f988c4cd4f" /> 3. Confirm that the same files can be retrieved with query parameters (expect 200): <img width="2014" height="373" alt="image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/76bc2a6a-44f4-4161-ae47-eab5ae0c04a8" />

AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting. From 1.0.0 to 1.15.0, AnythingLLM's unauthenticated account-recovery flow in server/utils/PasswordRecovery/index.js uses recoverAccount() to deduplicate the raw recoveryCodes values before trimming them, so one valid code submitted twice with different surrounding whitespace can satisfy the two-code check. Each normalized value can also match the same stored hash instead of consuming a distinct hash. An attacker who knows the target username and one recovery code can call POST /api/system/recover-account in multi-user mode, receive a password-reset token, and use POST /api/system/reset-password to take over the account, including an administrator account.

Copier is a library and CLI app for rendering project templates. From 9.5.0 through 9.16.0, percent-encoded parent-directory segments or encoded path separators in a template URL can match a configured trusted repository prefix before an HTTP server or Git transport decodes the path, allowing unsafe template features from a repository outside the trusted prefix to run after user interaction. This issue is fixed in version 9.17.0.

In Eclipse BaSyx Go Components versions up to and including 1.0.0, ABAC-enabled deployments are vulnerable to an authorization bypass caused by inconsistent trailing-slash handling between the ABAC middleware and the HTTP router. The shared router configuration used Chi's `middleware.StripSlashes`, so a request such as `GET /shells/` was dispatched to the registered `GET /shells` route. However, the ABAC middleware evaluated the original request path including the trailing slash. If ABAC route lookup did not find a matching slash-suffixed route, the request was passed onward and the router then stripped the slash and executed the protected handler without the intended ABAC authorization decision and without the expected ABAC query filters. An unauthenticated or unauthorized network attacker could append a trailing slash to protected API routes to reach handlers that should have been denied by ABAC policy. Depending on the exposed component, HTTP method, and deployed policy, this could allow unauthorized read, create, update, delete, or upload operations. The issue affects ABAC-enabled deployments of services that use the shared router and ABAC middleware, including AAS Repository, Submodel Repository, AAS Registry, Submodel Registry, Concept Description Repository, Discovery, AAS Environment upload, and related services. The issue is fixed in Eclipse BaSyx Go Components v1.0.1.

ModSecurity is an open source, cross platform web application firewall (WAF) engine for Apache, IIS and Nginx. Prior to 3.0.16, the multipart/form-data request body parser in libmodsecurity silently removes embedded line breaks from non-file form-field values before exporting them to ARGS and ARGS_POST because src/request_body_processor/multipart.cc overwrites reserved bytes in m_reserve instead of appending the current buffer. This creates a parser differential between ModSecurity and backend applications that preserve line breaks in form fields, allowing rules that inspect ARGS or ARGS_POST to miss payloads whose dangerous syntax depends on a line break. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.16.
