CVE-2026-73412: CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') in ericcornelissen shescapeCVE-2026-73412 0 CVE-2026-73412 is an OS command injection vulnerability in the JavaScript library Shescape. It affects versions prior to 2.1.14 and 3.0.1 when used on Unix systems with the shell explicitly set to Zsh or when Zsh is the default shell. The vulnerability is worsened by Zsh options EXTENDED_GLOB and MAGIC_EQUAL_SUBST. An attacker can exploit home directory expansion and extended glob syntax to list files and directories, potentially leaking sensitive information. The issue is fixed in versions 2.1.14 and 3.0.1.
