CVE-2026-76316: The application generates a query intended to access or manipulate data in a data store such as a database, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that can modify the intended logic of the query. in Splunk Splunk EnterpriseCVE-2026-76316 0 CVE-2026-76316 is a high-severity vulnerability in Splunk Enterprise versions prior to 10.4.1, 10.2.5, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14. It allows an unauthenticated user who can access the Splunk management port to store a malicious Search Processing Language (SPL) pipeline. This pipeline executes when an administrator opens the Add Data forwarder workflow, potentially compromising data confidentiality, system integrity, and availability. The issue arises because Deployment Server client identifiers are not properly neutralized, enabling SPL injection. Exploitation requires an administrator to trigger the workflow after the attacker registers a crafted client identity.
