Splunk Enterprise versions 10.4 prior to 10.4.2 contain a vulnerability where an unauthenticated user can access Edge Processor pipeline configuration information via a REST API endpoint if the Edge Processor feature is enabled. This occurs due to missing authentication controls on the Edge Processor service endpoint. The vulnerability does not affect versions before 10.4. CVE-2026-76355 is a vulnerability in Splunk Enterprise versions 10.4 up to but not including 10.4.2. It allows an unauthenticated user to retrieve Edge Processor pipeline configuration information via a REST API endpoint when the Edge Processor feature is enabled.
