0 CVE-2026-77912 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in GitHub Enterprise Server affecting versions from 3.17.0 up to but not including 3.17.21, 3.18.15, 3.19.12, 3.20.8, 3.21.6, and 3.22.1. It allows an authenticated attacker to inject arbitrary HTML attributes into rendered Markdown due to improper sanitization in the Markdown rendering pipeline. Exploitation can lead to bypassing Content Security Policy, DOM manipulation, reading victim-visible content, extracting CSRF tokens, performing actions as the victim, and data exfiltration.
