CVE-2026-78318 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Apache Syncope affecting versions 4.0.4 through 4.0.7 and 4.1.0-M0 through 4.1.2. The vulnerability arises from improper neutralization of input during web page generation, specifically in the notification message displayed on Console's and Enduser's login pages. Malicious HTTP links can cause unsafe JavaScript to be executed inline. Fixed versions 4.0.8 and 4.1.3 address this issue.
