0 Apache Airflow FAB provider versions from 2.0.0 up to but not including 3.9.0 have an insufficient session expiration vulnerability. When a user account is deactivated, tokens issued before deactivation remain valid and can be used to mint replacement tokens, allowing continued access with the original roles indefinitely. This issue affects deployments using the FAB auth manager and Core API token authentication. The vulnerability does not involve privilege escalation or token forgery, but it undermines administrative containment actions. Upgrading to version 3.9.0 or later mitigates this issue by rejecting tokens associated with deactivated accounts.
