CVE-2026-82358 is an incorrect authorization vulnerability in RT-Labs AB C-Open CANopen software. It allows an unauthenticated attacker on the CAN bus to bypass write protections and overwrite read-only Object Dictionary entries by exploiting flaws in the SDO server's download-segment frame handling. The vulnerability exists because the server does not properly validate write permissions or verify active download sessions. This can lead to unauthorized data modification on affected devices.
