0 IBM ContextForge MCP Gateway versions 0.1.0 through 1.0.5 contain a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability. Authenticated users with gateway creation privileges can exploit this flaw by supplying a malicious OAuth token URL during gateway registration, causing the system to perform arbitrary HTTP POST requests to internal or cloud metadata endpoints. This bypasses existing SSRF protections applied to other parameters. The vulnerability may leak up to 256 characters of response data in error messages.
