CVE-2026-85740 is a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in HKUDS LightRAG prior to version 1.5.5. The vulnerability arises because the _validated_addresses function does not properly classify IPv4 addresses embedded in IPv6 transition wrappers, allowing an attacker who can upload Markdown or textpack documents to supply external image URLs that bypass address validation. This can lead to the server fetching internal resources via NAT64 or DNS64 routing. The issue is fixed in version 1.5.5.
