CVE-2026-86742: Improper Neutralization of Formula Elements in a CSV File in grokability snipe-itCVE-2026-86742 0 Snipe-IT versions through 8.6.3 have a vulnerability in the unaccepted assets acceptance report CSV export where formula elements are not properly neutralized. An authenticated low-privilege user can inject spreadsheet formulas into free-text fields that appear in the report. When the CSV is opened by a user with report viewing privileges, the formulas may be executed in spreadsheet applications like Excel, LibreOffice Calc, or Google Sheets. This can lead to data exfiltration or command execution on legacy Windows Excel configurations. The issue is fixed in version 8.7.0.
