CVE-2026-86760: Incorrect Authorization in grokability snipe-itCVE-2026-86760 0 Snipe-IT versions 8.2.0 through 8.6.x contain an incorrect authorization vulnerability in the UsersController update function. This flaw allows an authenticated non-admin user with users.edit permission to toggle the activated status of any user, including admins and superusers, by submitting a crafted PUT request. Only the activated field is affected; other sensitive fields remain protected. The issue is fixed in version 8.7.0.
