CVE-2026-88022 is a high-severity vulnerability in the MongoDB integration for Laravel (PHP) that involves improper neutralization of special elements in data query logic. Specifically, when using the three-argument where method with the operator '=' or 'eq', as well as the find and delete methods that rely on this code path, an array supplied as a filter can be misinterpreted as a query condition rather than a literal value. This can allow an attacker to retrieve or delete documents beyond the intended target if they can supply an operator-shaped array to these APIs.
