0 CVE-2026-93405 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Foundry376 Mailspring email client versions prior to 1.17.0. The issue arises from unsafe insertion of converted HTML from Markdown, DOCX, and XLSX attachments into the preview document without sanitization. This allows a remote attacker to execute script code when a recipient opens the attachment quick preview. The vulnerability is fixed in version 1.17.0.
