0 CVE-2026-95625 is a medium severity vulnerability in the Tauri tauri-plugin-updater. The plugin verifies update binaries using minisign signatures covering only the raw binary bytes. However, the update manifest, which includes critical fields like version number and download URL, is fetched over TLS but is not itself signed or authenticated. This allows an attacker who can serve a crafted manifest to force installation of an older signed release, bypassing anti-rollback protections.
