0 CVE-2026-96454 is a missing authorization vulnerability in the Pake application built on Tauri. It allows any script running on any HTTPS page inside a Pake application to invoke native app commands without proper permission checks. This occurs because Pake grants IPC access broadly to all HTTPS origins and does not enforce access control on app commands. The vulnerability enables unauthorized native command execution, which combined with a separate path traversal flaw, can lead to arbitrary file write and persistent code execution.
