HomeBox is a home inventory and organization system. Versions prior to 0.25.0 contain a vulnerability where the defaultGroup ID remained permanently assigned to a user after being invited to a group, even after their access to that group was revoked. While the web interface correctly enforced the access revocation and prevented the user from viewing or modifying the group's contents, the API did not. Because the original group ID persisted as the user's defaultGroup, and this value was not properly validated when the X-Tenant header was omitted, the user could still perform full CRUD operations on the group's collections through the API, bypassing the intended access controls. This issue has been fixed in version 0.25.0. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 04/17/2026, 21:01:18 UTC Added: 04/17/2026, 21:08:06 UTC |
A race condition in the secrets management subsystem of Juju versions 3.0.0 through 3.6.18 allows an authenticated unit agent to claim ownership of a newly initialized secret. Between generating a Juju Secret ID and creating the secret's first revision, an attacker authenticated as another unit agent can claim ownership of a known secret. This leads to the attacking unit being able to read the content of the initial secret revision. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 03/18/2026, 12:28:11 UTC Added: 03/18/2026, 12:43:36 UTC |
It was discovered that process_crash() in data/apport in Canonical's Apport crash reporting tool may create crash files with incorrect group ownership, possibly exposing crash information beyond expected or intended groups. 0 A wrong permission check in KNIME Business Hub before version 1.17.0 allowed an authenticated user to save jobs of other users as if there were saved by the job owner. The attacker must have permissions to access the jobs but then they were saved into the catalog service using the wrong owner permissions. Therefore it may have been possible to save into spaces where the attacker does not have write permissions. There is no workaround. 0 A privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the Snapshot functionality of Parallels Desktop for Mac version 20.1.1 (build 55740). When a snapshot of a virtual machine is deleted, a root service verifies and modifies the ownership of the snapshot files. By using a symlink, an attacker can change the ownership of files owned by root to a lower-privilege user, potentially leading to privilege escalation.
