They send emails with links to fake Adobe PDF viewer pages that prompt users to download disguised executable files. The malware installs LogMeIn remote access software, allowing attackers to control compromised machines remotely. Over two months, more than 28 campaigns targeted over 1,271 users. The use of a trusted platform complicates detection and increases the risk of successful attacks.
