A critical buffer overflow vulnerability (CWE-787) exists in Tobit Laboratories AG TeamDavid's Webbox application API endpoint. An unauthenticated attacker can submit a specially crafted JSON body, at least 8 characters long and beginning with a number, to cause a denial of service by crashing the server. This vulnerability affects TeamDavid versions before Rollout 528. Starting with Rollout 528 (June 30, 2026), the vulnerable functionality is disabled by default, mitigating exposure.
