The D-Link DIR-605L Hardware Revision A1 device contains a hardcoded telnet backdoor with static credentials. This backdoor allows an attacker on the local network to gain root shell access without authentication. The device is End-of-Life (EOL) and will not receive patches, leaving it permanently vulnerable.
