CVE-2026-54209 is a high-severity out-of-bounds read vulnerability in Tobit Laboratories AG TeamDavid's Webbox application. The vulnerability arises from improper validation of file paths during password changes, allowing an attacker to trigger a buffer overflow by specifying a large file other than the intended Archive.ini. This can cause the server to crash, resulting in denial of service. The issue affects versions before Rollout 528, after which the vulnerable functionality is disabled by default.
