CVE-2024-44998 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ATM driver for the idt77252 device. The flaw occurs in the dequeue_rx() function where the code dereferences a socket buffer (skb) after it has been released by a call to vcc->push(). This vulnerability has been resolved in the Linux kernel.
