A vulnerability in the AWS Advanced Go Wrapper for Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL allows a low privilege authenticated user to escalate privileges to the rds_superuser role by creating a crafted function executed with elevated permissions. This affects versions of the AWS Go Wrapper prior to 1.0.2 and 1.1.1. A fix is available in versions 1.0.2 and 1.1.1.
